Star Wars Weekends 2013 Recap - Part 2

Another Great Day at Star Wars the Weekend (SWW)!  It was the 30th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi, also!  Coincidence SWW and Anniversary together?

The crowds were very large today.  Fast passes were going quick.  I was there early, but didn't get a fast past for Toy Story until 9pm!  I spoke to a Bus Transportation official who told me the parking lot at Magic Kingdom filled to capacity quickly and they had to divert cars to the Epcot parking lot!  A much larger Memorial Day weekend crowd than expected.

I spent a good part of the day in Darth's Mall.  It was crowded, so I took my time.  A lot of things for families to do here.  There were still building the Lego exhibit.  I can't wait to see it tomorrow when it is done.

You were able to build your light saber and your R2 unit here at Darth's Mall!  These two additions helped alleviate some of the crowds at the Star Tours Gift Shop.   Lots of collectibles.  My favorite new toy was the Thermal Detonator Hot Potato - and Only at SWW!  Angry birds were a big hit at the Mall today.  The organizers even had an Angry Birds game!

Disney's D-Tech was there also in Darth's Mall!  Always a big hit is a Star Tours name tag!  My name is Syl and I'm from Alderaan!

Also at D-Tech, you could become frozen in carbonite or, new this year, become a Storm Trooper action figure.   I chose the action figure!  We will see in 8 weeks how I turn out!

I stuck to my healthy eating plan.  I had hummus and carrots as a snack.  I picked this up at my resort before I left.  I did go to Pizza Planet a favorite for kids AND adults!  I only ate half - I promise!

I left Darth's Mall, loaded down with T-shirts, Vinylmations, and other gadgets I HAD to have.  Great day at the Mall!

I made it over to Epcot for Supper and was in the room by 11am!  A pedometer check showed 7 miles for the day!
