Expo Fit For a Princess

Last Updated February 2014

The Expo is always a fun part of the runDisney experience, and the Princess Half Marathon Expo was no exception! This was my first time to go to the Expo alone, and I had a lot to do!

So, after a breakfast of champions, I headed over to the ESPN Complex!

It was scheduled to open at 10 am, but they were letting people in early because of the New Balance Shoe reservations!  I was there at 9:30am and walked right in!

First thing on the list, get all our packets.  I had 6 race packets and 3 Chear Squad packets to gather.  It was very nerve racking trying to make sure that I got everything for everybody!

With all race packets, t-shirts and Chear Squad kits all accounted for, I was ready to hit the Expo!  My time to pick up my New Balance shoes was at 1:00pm, so I had plenty of time to shop!

You were greeted as royalty when entering the Expo!
I always head to the Official runDisney Merchandise because these items can sell out quickly.  I've been caught in the past with not being able to get what I wanted; therefore, official merchandise is a priority!
I love t-shirts, so this was my first stop in the shop!
You could also pick up the new runDisney tutu's !
And the exclusive runDisney vinylmaions!
From the Official Merchandise, I headed over to see our medals!
All of these medals would be finding a home with someone on our Team!  That was very exciting!
Then it was off to find all the unique and new things to buy and to explore!
Most notable were the Toms Disney/Princess Half originals!

I found a really cute brand of clothes called Nuu Muu and bought an outfit!
There was an amazing mural that if you looked close, you would be able to find your name!
Once everyone figured out what the walls were, it got really crowded.  But, I was able to capture some of our names!
And had some really fun pictures taken!
Princess Minnie was on a break, but Lori's girls were able to catch her later!  So sorry I missed Minnie!
After thoroughly enjoying my 2 hours roaming the Expo, it was time to pick up my New Balance shoes!

Picking up my shoes went very easy.  All the chaos from the WDW and Tink Expos had been resolved!  Kudos to runDisney!
I had a wonderful time at the Expo!  Everyone was friendly, engaging and enjoying the day as well!  This was my 3rd Expo in 6 months, and I felt the Princess Half was the best!
