Last Minute Princess Half Checklist

runDisney Packing Checklist
As you are heading to your next Princess Half Marathon Weekend or your next runDisney race weekend, remember that you've worked hard to pursue your dreams and you don't want to leave anything behind!
My Best Advice:  Pack early so that you don't forget anything!  To Help,  I've composed a Last Minute Checklist as you pack for your the Magical Race in Orlando!

1.  Organize Your Waivers, ID, Authorization Forms
Put all the forms that you will need for the Expo in your carry-on bag if flying.  If driving, be sure to know where you packed them and keep them within easy reach.

2.  Pack Your Magical Express
If you are flying, and taking the Magical Express to your resort, be sure and have your Magical Express Transportation Vouchers in your carry on bag.  Ask your Travel Agent to link your Magical Express to your Magic Bands!  And Remember once you land, head to Level 1, Terminal B!

3.  Know the Expo Hours
You will need to attend the Expo to pick up your race packets:  If you are arriving the day before your race, make sure you know when the Expo closes and allow yourself plenty of time to get there.

All racers, party-goers, chear -squaders, have to go to the Expo!

No one can pick up your race packets for you!

The Buses from your Resort to the Expo will have a runDisney sign on the front:  These are the ones to ride.

If you are unsure if your Resort has a bus service provided by runDisney, ask your Bell Service; they will be glad to help you, and get you a Taxi if necessary.

4.  Pack Your Magic Bands
Best bet is to wear your Magic Bands as you board the plane or set out for your road trip.  This step will ensure that you don't leave them.  Make sure that your resort, tickets, dining, and FastPass+ are all linked to your Magic Bands through MyDisneyExperience.

If for some reason you forget your bands, Don't Worry!  A Cast Member at your resort will give you gray ones to wear during your stay and relink everything to the new ones.

5. Write a List
It's really best to think days in advance, and lay everything out.  You may not have realized you needed new socks, or a headband.  It is always best to double check!  Start writing a list the days and weeks before you leave.

I have an essential runDisney packing list that you can download to help!

7.  Plan Your Family Meeting Area
Be sure and talk to your family about where to meet after the race - before you leave!
runDisney will provide flags with a letter of the alphabet on each flag in the family reunion area. Pick a letter of the Alphabet that is easy to remember, such as your the first letter of your last name.

8. Pack Your Enthusiasm!
You are heading to a magical, happy race: make sure and bring a great attitude with you!  Encourage each other on the race:  not everyone is an elite runner, and we are all facing daily, personal challenges.  A ray of sunshine for others may be just what they need to keep moving and succeed!
