4 Planning Tips for Star Wars Weekends

There are so many things to do while at Star Wars Weekends that it might seem overwhelming, but it is manageable to get everything you want to do in one weekend if you have proper planning.    And I have some planning tips to help you get the most out of your weekend!
Minds in Challenge
1.  Wake up early: You will want to be in line when the rope drops.   And don’t be fooled by park times, Hollywood typically opens at least a half hour early during SWW.    If you have children, you want to go immediately to sign up for the Jedi Training and Padawan Mind Challenge.  Your child HAS to be with you pick up your scheduled time.

2.  Utilize FastPass+ :  Be sure and use Fastpass+ for Toy Story Mania or Rock ‘n Roller Coaster. These rides are extremely popular and available space fills up quickly.  You only have 3 choices for FastPass+ so choose wisely. If there are more than 3 attractions you need to choose from, then you can probably leave Star Tours off the FastPass+ list:  the Star Tours line moves quickly throughout the day and you will have plenty of time to ride.

 3.  Get Those Wanted Character Shots:  Knowing where the characters will be is the key.  Chewbacca is a must do and a lot of fun:  he will be located at the land speeder in front of Star Tours;  Darth Vader and Darth Mall will be in front of the Back Lot Tour as well as the wandering Jawas and Sand People.  Be ready to have some fun with the Sand People and bring a dollar store trinket to trade with the Jawas (you never know what you will get in return!). Storm Troopers and Boba Fett will be there, too.  Be aware, these guys can be pretty serious!

Chewie is Awesome!
 4.   Take a break From the Sun: Visit the expansive Darth’s Mall during the hottest part of the day.  You can cool off in the air conditioning while you shop for exclusive SWW souvenirs, enjoy a snack and take photographs with the beloved Princess Leia and R2D2!

All things are easier when you plan!  Let me help you get there kesselrunner77@gmail.com
